Mark (Aka) Alec was first introduced to music as a young boy thanks to his Dad teaching him how to play the organ in his parents' pub!

A self taught drummer, he first had success drumming and singing from the kit in various cover bands until he made the decision to 'jump ship' and switch to playing bass guitar in the early 2000's.

"I've had a great musical journey. I'm very fortunate, I know. I've played with some great musicians in cover bands and tribute bands all over the UK, Europe and the Middle East ... "Did i mention Dubai?" Lol.

When the call came from BJE it was an easy decision. I feel very honoured to be part of this great band. Helping the show become bigger and better for our amazing Jovi audiences.  Seeing the enjoyment on peoples faces while we're thumping out some of the best rock anthems ever is priceless!

Highlights for me? Touring Ecuador South America in both 2024 & 2025..!!!
